the task is the vertical, condensed organisation of the three fundemantally different programmatic categories(retail,commercial,residential) in a single tower.
PROGRAMMES
The aim was to achieve the most interarticulated relations between functions and reflect this relation onto the facade system.
research began with possibilities of interarticulation of programs those were requested.
after researches about advantages and disadvantages of articulation (with different parameters,orientation, natural ligthining, infrastructure) , we set up our own rules and tools (negative-positive spaces, density) to locate each program in the tower.
OFFICE as a programme, requires efficient space usage and fast circulation system.HOUSING and RETAIL share access points.
HOUSING as a programme, requires efficient daylight conditions, view options and high comfort quality. HOUSING shares access points with OFFICE and RETAIL where necessary.
RETAIL as a programme, requires well planned and well (selling) working circulation system,access points has to be well developped within the building.
CIRCULATION has possibilities of;
1)avoiding mixture
2)shortest way to next program
There are 4 types of main circulation system.TOO FAST_FAST_ORDINARY_SLOW.Also there is a chance to transfer from one type to other in transition floors between programmes.
STRUCTURE allows different functions to work SIMULTANIOUSLY.It adapts itself to programes according to space requirements and interaction laws.It becomes a slab,where too much space is required (OFFICE and RETAIL) and becomes apartment units in HOUSING.
